Why You Shouldn’t Pop Your Pimples

Argh! Those dirty pimples are back. How did they manage to come out from nowhere on the day before my sister’s wedding? Did that ever happen to you? And the best part about it is popping out the pimple. If you got it anywhere else in your body, it’s an extremely satisfying thing to squeeze the life out of it. Well, is that a right thing to do? Let’s check.

 

A pimple is a kind of condition that results from excess sebum and dead skin cells getting trapped in the pores of the skin. In its aggravated state, it may evolve into a pustule or papules. Pimples are more common during puberty. At these times our skin is more thicker. Pimples are mostly caused by the blockage of Sebaceous gland. Pimples are of various types. The most common types are pustules, whiteheads and blackheads.

 

There are several reasons why a pimple should not be popped. The most common reason being that it could create acne scarring. When you pop a pimple the pus and bacteria in it is most likely to spread on the skin. It might result in further infections. A pimple is a natural way of our body to keep away diseases. If you have a pimple, it means that your body is doing something against getting you sick. So when you pop a pimple you are actually slowing down the defense mechanism in our body. So stop doing that and let our body do it’s work in peace.

 

It only takes three to seven days for a pimple to heal on its own. When you pop a pimple, it can extend the time to 14 or more days before it heals. If your goal is satisfaction or relaxation, why don’t you go for some slime cutting rather than popping out that ungodly pimple?
